This was my first time visiting Heritage Park period and to see the holiday lights. It was at my suggestion that we go for a family visit. My oldest niece and her family live in Simpsonville, but had never been to see the Christmas lights there. Heritage Park in my opinion is ok for the young at age and heart. No one was out there giving directions, it’s too dark, not enough street lights, no directions as to where the handicap parking is located. Not knowing and being able to even see where the entrance ticket gate is located, causes A LOT of walking, so make sure to put on your walking shoes. Tree roots that you could not see because there were no lights even to make sure you were walking on the walkways. An accident just waiting to happen. To make matters worse, unless you have a very very good sense of direction, to even remember where you parked in the dark. The admission cost is 5 and under free,$8 children 6 to 15 and $10 for 16 and up from Sunday to Thursday, the price goes up $2 for paying guests on Friday and Saturday. They’re open from 5 pm to 10 pm Monday through Thursday and 5 pm to 11 pm Friday to Sunday. After admission you will still need to buy tickets for the rides, the petting zoo and pay $10 to ride the ONE pony. The place was VERY crowded with only two booths serving food items and beverages. The wait times for attractions and food is very long, only one place to sit and eat your food if you took the time to stand in the long lines. My suggestion is to eat before or after going. They do have watered down hot chocolate if you would like to wait in line for it. I did enjoy the light display and the look on my eight year old great nephew and two year old great great nephew’s faces looking at the lights. Just looking at the number of people that go there and the money spent there, it should and could be better organized and much improved. It’s worth at least one visit, children and the young in “age and heart” will enjoy it. This won’t be a repeat tradition for me. As usual I did enjoy spending time with my family.

Ladies and gentlemen, get ready to dive into the extraordinary world of the Heritage Park Amphitheater in Simpsonville, SC! This place is like a touchdown celebration for music lovers, a true haven for all things entertainment. So, grab your snacks, put on your comfiest shoes, and let's get this review started, dad-style! As I strolled into the charismatic Heritage Park Amphitheater, I couldn't help but feel like I was entering a magical kingdom of melodies. The atmosphere was electric, like a lightning bolt of excitement striking the air. This place had it all, from the enchanting stage to the vibrant crowd, it was a sight to behold, my friends! Let's talk seating, folks! The chairs were like clouds made of marshmallow fluff, so plush and cozy you'd think you were sitting on a cloud. Each seat provided a panoramic view, ensuring that not a single jazz note or rock riff would escape your ears. It was like having a front-row seat to the concert of a lifetime! Now, let me tell you about the sound quality, dads and dadettes. It was like hearing a symphony of angels playing their heavenly tunes. The music flowed through the air, tickling your eardrums with sheer delight. Whether it was the smoothest jazz or the wildest rock 'n' roll, every note was crystal clear, like sipping lemonade on a hot summer day! But wait, there's more, folks! The Heritage Park Amphitheater was not just about the music. Oh no, they had a playground of amenities that would make even the corniest dad grin from ear to ear. From mouthwatering food trucks serving up delicious treats to the merch stands where you could proudly display your love for the artists, this place had it all. It was like a treasure trove of entertainment goodness! And let's not forget the staff, my fellow dads and mommas! They were the true MVPs of the Heritage Park Amphitheater experience. Friendly, helpful, and always ready with a dad joke or two, they made you feel like a part of their big, happy family. From guiding you to your seat with a smile to making sure your favorite tunes were blasting just right, they were there, making memories with you. In conclusion, my friends, the Heritage Park Amphitheater in Simpsonville, SC, is a true gem in the world of entertainment. It's a place where melodies come alive, where laughter fills the air, and where memories are made. So, whether you're a die-hard music fan or simply looking for a fun-filled family outing, this venue is for you. Trust me, you won't be disappointed! That's all for today, folks! Remember, a day without laughter is like a football game without touchdowns—totally pointless! This is DAD, signing off with one final corny dad joke: Why don't scientists trust atoms? Because they make up everything! Stay cheesy and keep rockin', my friends!

We visited Heritage Park recently with our 15 month old toddler. It was not too high so he was able to climb most everything & go down the slide. Plenty of swings & a choo choo train that ran constantly around the park. We didn't ride that day, but he enjoyed just waving and watching the safety rail lower. It's also gated so no chasing the kids all over & plenty of swings benches. He (we) loved this park!

My son was very happy to see the train go. Mini trains that run only on weekends seem to be popular with children. The spacious trail and two baseball stadiums inside are enough to stay for a long time. I highly recommend it.

Great concerts at a reasonable price, but as a lower leg amputee, the parking is abysmal. The front gate is over a half mile from where we had to park. I was told that the few handicap spaces fill up hours before the show. Wondering how this stacks up against the A.D.A..
